An upper-level low will develop over the Southeast on Saturday into Sunday. The associated surface front over the Southeast will slowly move off the Southeast Coast by Sunday evening. Circulation around the upper-level low will aid in pulling moisture off the Atlantic that will contribute to the development of showers and thunderstorms over the Southeast and Southern Mid-Atlantic on Saturday that will slowly wane to portions of the Southeast Coast by Sunday. Meanwhile, moisture from the Pacific will move into the Pacific Northwest Coast ahead of a front that will move onshore by Saturday evening. The front will move quickly inland to the Upper Mississippi Valley/Central High Plains by Sunday evening. In addition, onshore flow will develop behind the boundary from Saturday afternoon til late Sunday morning. The moisture will aid in producing rain over the Pacific Northwest through early Sunday morning. Rain will also move into parts of the Northern Rockies by Saturday evening into Sunday morning. As the front moves east, rain will move into the Northern High Plains by Sunday morning and into parts of the Northern Plains/Upper Mississippi Valley by Sunday evening. Elsewhere, upper-level energy and moisture will trigger showers and thunderstorms over parts of Southern High Plains to the Southwest on Saturday waning by Sunday afternoon.
