Deep upper-level low over the Pacific Northwest/Northern California will move southeastward to the Great Basin by Thursday, Thanksgiving. A wave along the associated front over the Northern/Central Plains will lift northeastward into Eastern Canada by late Wednesday night. The surface low will pull a warm front northward from the Central Plains/Ohio Valley into Southeastern Canada and drag a cold front onto parts of the Southern High Plains into the Upper Great Lakes by Wednesday evening/Thursday morning. Moisture from the Gulf of Mexico will pool along and overrun the front. As the atmosphere moistens, rain will develop over parts of the Southern Plains into the Central Plains late Tuesday night into Wednesday. Showers and thunderstorms will develop over parts of the Southern High Plains by Wednesday evening expanding into parts of the Southern Plains/Lower Mississippi Valley by Thanksgiving morning. As the moisture overruns the boundary, areas of freezing rain will develop over parts of Central Plains into parts of the Upper Mississippi Valley Wednesday evening into Thursday. Rain will also develop over parts of the Central Plains into the Upper Great Lakes on Wednesday afternoon into Thursday. Areas of snow will develop along the front on Thursday morning, Thanksgiving. Meanwhile, rain will develop along parts of the Pacific Northwest Coast into Central California on Tuesday evening waning by Wednesday evening. Snow will develop over parts of the Northern Intermountain Region/Rockies, the Sierras, and parts of the Great Basin on Tuesday evening. The snow will end over parts of the Northern Intermountain Region/Northern Rockies by Thursday morning. The snow will expand into parts of the Eastern Great Basin/Central Rockies Wednesday into Thursday, Thanksgiving. Elsewhere, easterly flow off the Atlantic will produce scattered light rain along the East Coast of Florida through Thanksgiving.
