Low pressure over the Upper Midwest will slowly move from parts of Iowa to Wisconsin by Wednesday morning. The associated front extending from the Middle Mississippi Valley to parts of the Southern High Plains will move eastward to the Lower Great Lakes to the Central Gulf Coast by Wednesday. The system will produce snow over parts of the Upper Midwest that will start to taper off by Wednesday morning. Rain will develop over parts of the Upper Great Lakes to the Lower Mississippi Valley/Western Gulf Coast that will move eastward to the Lower Great Lakes to the Central/Western Gulf Coast. Meanwhile, low pressure off the Mid-Atlantic Coast and associated front extending from the Southern Mid-Atlantic into the Ohio Valley will merges with the system moving eastward out of the Middle Mississippi Valley by Tuesday morning. The storm will lift northward to Southern New England Coast by Wednesday. The system will produce rain over the Mid-Atlantic into parts of the Ohio Valley that will lift northward into the Northeast Tuesday afternoon into Wednesday. Several boundaries will move close to the Pacific Northwest and dissipate by Wednesday. Moisture from the Pacific will parallel the coast then move inland over the Pacific Northwest Tuesday night into Wednesday. A few sprinkles will develop over parts of the Pacific Northwest/Northern California Coast on Monday evening, becoming limited to the Olympic Peninsula by Tuesday morning. Rain will return to the Pacific Northwest/Northern California Coast by Tuesday evening and will move inland to parts of the Northern Intermountain Region by Wednesday. Snow will develop over the higher elevations of the Cascades Tuesday evening into Wednesday. Elsewhere, easterly flow off the Atlantic will aid in producing scattered light rain along the east coast of Florida Monday evening into Wednesday.
