Upper-level energy coming onshore over the Pacific Northwest and plumes of moisture along with onshore flow will aid in producing rain over the Pacific Northwest, Northern California, Northern Intermountain Region, and Northern Rockies through Wednesday evening. Snow will develop over the higher elevations of the Northern Cascades and the Northern/Central Rockies also through Wednesday. Meanwhile, a developing front over the Upper Midwest on Tuesday evening will move to the Great Lakes/Ohio Valley and dissipate by Wednesday evening. Moisture pooling along the front will aid in producing rain over parts of the Upper/Middle Mississippi Valley on Tuesday evening moving into parts of the Great Lakes/Ohio Valley by Wednesday evening. In addition, another boundary moving southeastward out Western Canada will move to the Northern Plains by Wednesday evening. The front will trigger rain over parts of the Northern Plains on Wednesday afternoon into evening. Additionally, a lingering front near the southern tip of Florida will aid in producing light rain over Southern Florida through Wednesday evening.
