Major storm along the Northeast/Mid-Atlantic Coast will slowly move northeastward out over the Western Atlantic. Snow over the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast will slowly wane by Sunday morning. In the wake of the storm, high pressure over the Southern Plains/Middle Mississippi Valley will move to the East Coast by Monday morning. Low pressure over the Upper Mississippi Valley will move eastward to eastern Ontario and dissipate. The system will produce snow over the Upper Mississippi Valley into the Upper Great Lakes, ending overnight Sunday. Meanwhile, a deep upper-level trough over the West Coast will move eastward to the Plains by Monday morning. The storm will produce rain along the coast from the Northwest to central California with snow at higher elevations, ending over the Northwest by Monday morning. Snow will develop over the Northern Intermountain Region/Northern Rockies and the Great Basin that will begin to wane by Monday morning. The snow will expand into the Central Rockies/Northern High Plains by Sunday evening. The snow will continue to expand into parts of the Northern/Central Plains and the Upper Mississippi Valley on Sunday night into Monday morning.
