A developing storm moving out of the Southern Rockies will move northeastward from the Southern High Plains to the Great Lakes by Tuesday morning. Snow over the Northern Intermountain Region, Northern Rockies, and the Northern High Plains will end on Monday morning. Coastal rain and higher elevations snow will also wind down over parts of the Pacific Northwest/Northern California by Monday morning. Snow will develop over the Central Rockies on Sunday and expand into the Upper Midwest overnight Sunday moving into the Great Lakes and parts of the Ohio Valley on Monday evening into Tuesday morning. Additional upper-level energy over the Southwest will move eastward to parts of the Southern High Plains by Tuesday morning. The energy will produce snow over parts of the Central Rockies Monday afternoon into evening. The snow will move southeastward into the Southern High Plains by Tuesday morning. On Monday, rain will develop over parts of the Middle/Lower Mississippi Valley and parts of the Western Gulf Coast. The rain will move to parts of the Great Lakes/Ohio Valley while extending southwestward to the Lower Mississippi Valley/Western Gulf Coast by Tuesday morning. Elsewhere, high pressure over the Mid-Atlantic to the Southeast will slowly move eastward off the East Coast by Tuesday morning.
