Low pressure over the Middle Mississippi Valley will lift northeastward into Southeastern Canada by Monday morning. The associated front will move from the Middle Mississippi Valley/Southern Plains eastward to the Northeast/Mid-Atlantic Coast then trail westward from the Mid-Atlantic to the Southern Plains by Monday evening. The system will produce rain over parts of the Great Lakes southwestward into parts of the Middle Mississippi Valley on Sunday morning moving eastward to the Northern Appalachians to parts of the Southeast by Monday afternoon. The rain will move off the Northeast by Monday evening with rain extending over parts of the Mid-Atlantic to parts of the Southeast/Southern Appalachians. Snow will develop over parts of the Upper Great Lakes by Sunday afternoon and move into Southeastern Canada by Monday morning. Some of the rain will change over to snow over parts of the Lower Great Lakes into Northern New England by Monday afternoon into evening. In addition, light snow will develop over part of the Central High Plains into parts of the Middle Mississippi Valley on Sunday morning ending by Sunday afternoon. Meanwhile, a developing storm over parts of the Southwest will move eastward to the Southern Plains by Monday evening. The system will produce rain and higher elevation snow over Central/Southern California and snow and lower elevation rain over parts of the Great Basin/Southwest and the Central Rockies on Sunday. As the storm winds up, snow levels will drop over the Southwest as the snow moves into the Southern Rockies and onto the Central Plains by Monday evening. Rain will also develop over parts of the Southern High Plains on Monday evening. Additionally, onshore flow will develop over parts of the Pacific Northwest on Monday producing rain and higher elevation snow over parts of the Northwest and snow over parts of the Northern Intermountain Region on Monday.
