Deep low over extreme Northern New England will move northward into Canada by later Tuesday night. The associated front will move off the East Coast by early Wednesday morning. Rain will develop over parts of the Northern Mid-Atlantic into New England that will end by Wednesday morning. On the backside of the precipitation shield, the rain will change over to snow over parts of the Lower Great Lakes into parts of the Northern Appalachians that will move into Northern New England by late Tuesday night ending by Wednesday morning. In addition, another area of low pressure over Tennessee Valley will move eastward to the Carolinas while the associated boundary dissipates by early Wednesday morning. The system will produce rain over parts of the Tennessee and Ohio Valleys on Tuesday evening that will move to parts of the Southeast ending by later Wednesday morning. Additionally, snow will develop over the higher elevations of the Central/Southern Appalachians ending by Wednesday morning. Meanwhile, a reinforcing front will move from the Great Lakes to New England Coast producing light snow along the boundary from the Great Lakes on Tuesday evening moving to the Central Appalachians by Wednesday evening. The snow will winddown over parts of Northern New England by Thursday morning. Onshore flow will aid in producing rain over parts of the Pacific Northwest ending by Tuesday evening. A front over the North Pacific will come onshore over the Pacific Northwest on Wednesday evening into Wednesday night. The boundary will move to the Rockies by Thursday. Moisture associated with the system will move onshore on Wednesday morning. As the front approaches, rain will develop along parts of the Pacific Northwest into parts of Northern California by Wednesday evening. The rain will move inland to parts of the Northern/Central Rockies and Great Basin with snow at the higher elevations by Thursday. When the front moves inland, the snow levels will lower over the Sierras and Cascades Wednesday night as snow develops over those regions by Thursday morning.
