Low pressure moving off the Southeast Coast will move northeastward out over the Western Atlantic. The system will produce light snow over parts of the Northern Mid-Atlantic that will move into parts of Southern New England by late Friday morning and ending over the Northern Mid-Atlantic Coast by Friday evening. Some of the light snow will linger over parts of Southern New England through Saturday morning. In addition, the storm will produce rain over parts of the Southern Mid-Atlantic Coast to parts of Florida ending by Friday afternoon. Likewise, showers and thunderstorms will develop over parts of Eastern Florida also ending by Friday afternoon. In the meantime, a front extending from the Northern Plains to parts of the Great Basin will move eastward to Eastern Ohio Valley across parts of the Tennessee Valley to parts of the Southern Plains by Saturday evening. Snow and rain will develop over parts of the Northern Plains moving to parts of the Upper Mississippi Valley/Upper Great Lakes and parts of the Middle Mississippi Valley by Friday evening. The snow and rain will move into the Great Lakes and Ohio Valley by Saturday morning and continue into parts of the Northern Mid-Atlantic and Central Appalachians by Saturday evening. Along the West Coast, multiple upper-level impulses will move into the West Coast along with a plume of moisture from the Pacific. Rain will begin to move onshore over parts of the Pacific Northwest and Northern/Central California by Friday evening. The rain will move inland to parts of the Northern Intermountain Region and Great Basin by Saturday morning. The rain will continue over the area through Saturday evening while snow develops over the higher elevations of the Sierras.
