A closed upper-level low over northwestern Mexico will move eastward to eastern Mexico by Thursday. A front extending from the Upper Great Lakes southwestward to the Southern High Plains will move eastward to the Northeast to the Great Lakes to the Southern Plains by Thursday, too. The southern part of the Midwest front will drape just north of the front associated with the closed upper-level low moving across Mexico. Showers and thunderstorms will develop along and ahead of the boundary from the Western Ohio Valley to the Lower Mississippi Valley/Southern Plains and continue along and near the front through Thursday. Rain will develop over parts of the Upper Mississippi Valley/Upper Great Lakes and move across parts of Southern Canada into parts of the Northeast by Wednesday morning and continue into Thursday.
