Low pressure over the Southeast will move northeastward to off the Northeast Coast by Monday morning. The system will produce showers and thunderstorms over parts of the Southeast that will slowly move eastward into Florida and off the Florida coast by late Sunday night. Rain will also develop from parts of the Tennessee Valley and Southern Ohio Valley eastward to the Southern Mid-Atlantic that will continue over the region through late Sunday night and remain along parts of the Southern Mid-Atlantic Coast by Monday morning. In addition, snow will develop over the higher elevations of the Central Appalachians and over parts of the Ohio Valley into parts of the Middle Mississippi Valley/Central Plains on Saturday evening. The snow will move into parts of the Northern Mid-Atlantic by Sunday morning. Snow will end over parts of the Middle Mississippi Valley/Western Ohio Valley by Sunday evening. Additionally, snow will begin to develop over parts of Southern New England by Sunday evening and move into Northern New England overnight Sunday into Monday morning. The snow will be limited to parts of the Central Appalachians and Northern Mid-Atlantic Coast by Monday morning, too. Meanwhile, a front off the West Coast will move onshore by Sunday afternoon moving inland to the Northern High Plains/Northern Rockies to parts of the Great Basin by Monday. Rain will begin over parts of the Pacific Northwest Coast and Northern California by Sunday morning as moisture move into the West Coast. The rain will move inland to the parts of the Northern High Plains/Northern Rockies continuing to the Northwest Coast and the Northern California Coast by Monday morning. Snow will develop over the highest elevations the Cascades and Sierras as well as the higher elevations of the Northern Rockies Sunday night into Monday morning. Elsewhere, a front moving out of South-Central Canada will move into parts of Upper Midwest Sunday evening into Monday.
