A front extending from the Upper Great Lakes to the Southern Plains will move eastward off most of the East Coast by Monday afternoon. Moisture pooling along the boundary will aid in producing showers and thunderstorms from parts of the Middle Mississippi Valley to the Southern Plains that will move to parts of the Great Lakes/Ohio Valley to the Central Gulf Coast by Sunday evening. The showers and thunderstorms will move into parts of the Mid-Atlantic to the Southern Appalachians by Monday morning, dissipating by Monday afternoon. Rain will also develop over parts of the Upper Great Lakes/Upper Mississippi Valley on Sunday morning moving to the Northeast/Northern Mid-Atlantic by Monday evening. In addition, upper-level energy over the Southeast to the Central Gulf Coast will move northeastward off the Mid-Atlantic Coast by Monday morning. The energy will aid in developing showers and thunderstorms from the Central Gulf Coast to the Southeast/Southern Mid-Atlantic Coast that will move off the Southeast/Southern Mid-Atlantic Coast by Monday afternoon, while showers and thunderstorms will linger over parts of Florida through Monday evening.
