A front extending from the Northern Appalachians to the Carolinas westward to the Southern Plains will move off the East Coast and the Gulf Coast by Friday morning. An associated deep upper-level trough over the Northeast will aid in producing rain from the Northeast to parts of the Tennessee Valley and Southern Ohio Valley with some embedded thunderstorms over parts of the Mid-Atlantic on Thursday evening. The rain will move off the Mid-Atlantic Coast and Southern New England Coast by Friday morning and off Northern New England by late Friday night.
