Upper-level low over the Mid-Atlantic will be quasi-stationary though Saturday. The system will produce rain over parts of the region that will move into parts of the Northern Appalachians/Southern New England by Friday evening continuing into Saturday morning. Showers and thunderstorms will develop over parts of the Carolinas on Friday afternoon moving off the Carolina Coast overnight Friday. In addition, rain will move into parts of Northern New England on Thursday evening ending by Friday afternoon. Meanwhile, a second upper-level low just off the California Coast will inland to the Great Basin/Southwest by Saturday.
