A strong storm over the Northern Plains will slowly move northeastward to Western Ontario/Upper Great Lakes by Thursday. Ahead of the low, upper-level energy will aid in producing showers and thunderstorms over the Ohio/Tennessee Valleys that will move off the Mid-Atlantic Coast by Thursday. Rain will also develop over parts of the Great Lakes/Upper Mississippi Valley, ending over the Upper Mississippi Valley overnight Tuesday and over the Great Lakes by Wednesday afternoon. Additionally, showers and thunderstorms will develop along and ahead of the associated front over parts of the Northern/Central Plains into the Central/Southern Rockies that will, likewise, move eastward to the Great Lakes/Ohio Valley southwestward to the Southern Plains by Thursday, too. Rain will develop over parts of the Northern Plains that will move to the Upper Great Lakes. In addition, rain and higher elevation snow will develop over parts of the Northern Intermountain Region/Great Basin into the Northern/Central High Plains through Wednesday evening. Furthermore, weak impulse along and north of upper-level subtropical jet stream will also develop showers and thunderstorms over parts of the Southern Plains through late Wednesday night. Elsewhere, upper-level energy moving into the Pacific Northwest,from the West Coast of Canada, will aid in producing rain over parts of the Northern Intermountain Region on Wednesday into Wednesday evening.
