An upper-level low over Southern New England will slowly weaken and move eastward out over the Western Atlantic by Wednesday morning. Showers and thunderstorms will develop over parts of New England and the Mid-Atlantic Coast on Tuesday morning that will end over New England by Wednesday morning. In addition, a front over Southeastern Canada will move eastward into parts of the Northeast on Wednesday. Showers and thunderstorms will develop along the boundary over parts of Northern New England on Wednesday afternoon into evening. Meanwhile, a deep upper-level trough over the western portion of the country will be quasi-stationary through Thursday. The system will have a strong daytime heating component to the areal coverage of showers and thunderstorms that will develop under the trough. Showers and thunderstorms will develop over parts of the Pacific Northwest to California eastward to the Northern/Central Rockies through Wednesday evening. Downstream from the upper-level trough moisture from the Western Gulf of Mexico will move northward over the Southern/Central Plains into the Upper Great Lakes/Middle Mississippi Valley that will swing into parts of the Great Lakes/Ohio Valley by Wednesday. Showers and thunderstorms will develop over the Southern/Central Plains northeastward to the Upper Mississippi Valley/Upper Great Lakes on Tuesday that will move into parts of the Ohio Valley/Great Lakes while extending into the Southern Plains on Tuesday evening into Wednesday evening. Additionally, showers and thunderstorms will develop over parts of the Central/Northern Plains on Tuesday evening through Wednesday evening.
