An upper-level low over Maine will slowly move eastward to the eastern tip of Canada by Friday. With a pool of associated cold air aloft and ample moisture, rain and rain showers will develop over parts of the Northeast through Friday. Additionally, a weakening front over Florida will aid in producing showers and thunderstorms over the state through Friday. In addition, onshore flow off the Western Gulf of Mexico and weak upper-level energy will aid in producing showers and thunderstorms over the Western Gulf Coast through Friday. Meanwhile, upper-level energy trapped underneath an upper-level ridge and daytime heating will aid in producing showers and thunderstorms over parts of the Central/Southern Rockies and Central/Southern High Plains during the afternoon and evening hours on Wednesday and Thursday. Furthermore, a slow moving front over the Northern Rockies into the Great Basin will move eastward to the Northern Plains roughly westward to the Great Basin by Friday.
