Upper-level energy along the Central Gulf Coast will aid in producing showers and thunderstorms over Eastern Texas/Lower Mississippi Valley to parts of the Southeast through Wednesday. The showers and thunderstorms will have a strong daytime heating component to the areal coverage of the thunderstorms, i.e.) largest coverage during the afternoon and into the evening hours. In addition, an upper-level low rotating over Northern Maine/Canadian Maritimes will slowly move eastward away from New England. The energy will produce rain showers over parts of Northern New England through Tuesday evening. Meanwhile, another area of upper-level energy over the Great Basin/Central Rockies will move northeastward to the Upper Great Lakes/Upper Mississippi Valley by Wednesday. The energy will trigger showers and thunderstorms from the Great Basin/Rockies to the Upper Midwest that will move from the Great Basin/Rockies to the Upper/Middle Mississippi Valley and the Great Lakes/Ohio Valley moving into parts of the Mid-Atlantic by Wednesday.
