Tropical Storm Hermine is forecast to move northeastward to the North Carolina Coast by Saturday morning then off the Mid-Atlantic Coast Saturday evening into Sunday. (www.nhc.noaa.gov) The storm will produce showers and thunderstorms over parts of the Southeast and Southern Mid-Atlantic through late Saturday night. Rain will linger over parts of the Mid-Atlantic Coast on early Sunday morning into Sunday. Tropical moisture over parts of Florida will aid in producing showers and thunderstorm over the state through Sunday. Meanwhile, flow off the Western Gulf of Mexico and daytime heating will produce showers and thunderstorms over parts of the Southern Plains and the Western Gulf Coast on Friday and Saturday afternoon and evening. In addition, monsoonal moisture and daytime heating will produce showers and thunderstorms over parts of Southwest/Eastern Great Basin and parts of the Central/Southern Rockies on Friday and Saturday afternoon into late evening. Elsewhere, a front over the Northern High Plains roughly southwestward to the Great Basin will slowly move eastward to the Northern Plains continuing southwestward into parts of the Great Basin by Sunday.
