A front extending from the Great Lakes to the Southern High Plains will move eastward to the Northeast/Mid-Atlantic Coast to the Southern Ohio Valley/Tennessee Valley westward to the Southern Plains by Wednesday evening. Showers and thunderstorms will develop along and ahead of the boundary from the Upper Great Lakes to the Southern High Plains that will move eastward to the Northeast/Northern Mid-Atlantic Coast to the Ohio Valley/Middle Mississippi Valley to the Southern Plains by Wednesday evening. Meanwhile, tropical moisture and upper-level energy will develop showers and thunderstorms, some with heavy rain at times, over parts of the Southeast through Wednesday evening. Similarly, moisture over the Gulf Coast States and upper-level impulses will produce showers and thunderstorms over the Gulf Coast States through Wednesday. Furthermore, a developing upper-level low over California and the Great Basin will move into parts of the Northern Rockies/High Plains by Wednesday into Thursday. The upper-level energy will aid in producing showers and thunderstorms over parts of the Great Basin/Southwest into parts of the Rockies that will end over the Western Great Basin/Southwest by Wednesday evening, while continuing over the Rockies into parts of the Southern High Plains.
