A front extending from the Northeast/Great Lakes to the Central High Plains/Central Rockies will sink southward to the Mid-Atlantic to the Ohio Valley, while lifting northward into the Northern Plains by Saturday. Showers and thunderstorms will develop along and near the boundary from the Great Lakes to the Northern/Central Plains that will continue near the front through Friday night when the showers and thunderstorms end. As the front move into the Northeast, showers and thunderstorms will develop over parts of the Lower Great Lakes into the Northeast on Thursday night into Friday morning. The showers and thunderstorms will end overnight Friday into Saturday as the boundary moves into parts of the Mid-Atlantic. A deep upper-level low over the Great Basin/California will move northeastward to the Northern High Plains by Saturday morning. The system develops a front over the Great Basin that will move eastward to the Plains by Saturday. In addition, the storm will produce showers and thunderstorms over parts of the Northern Rockies/Northern High Plains southward to parts of the Southwest to the Central/Southern Rockies that will move into parts of the Northern Rockies/Plains to parts of the Central Rockies/Central High Plains by Friday evening. By Saturday, the Showers and thunderstorms will move into Plains. Additionally, rain will develop over parts of the Pacific Northwest into parts of Northern/Central California into the Great Basin/Northern Intermountain Region moving into the Northern Intermountain Region to the Great Basin by Friday morning. By Friday afternoon into evening, the rain will expand and move into parts of the Central/Southern Rockies. The rain will continue over parts of the Northern/Central Rockies into parts of the Great Basin on Saturday. Snow will develop over the highest peaks of Northern/Central Rockies into parts of the Eastern Great Basin Friday evening into Saturday. Elsewhere, moisture moving northward out of the Western Gulf of Mexico will aid in producing showers and thunderstorms over parts of the Western/Central Gulf Coast through Saturday. Furthermore, a weakening upper-level low over the Southeast/Southern Mid-Atlantic will produce showers and thunderstorms over parts of the region through Saturday morning. Tropical moisture over Florida will aid in producing showers and thunderstorms over parts of the state through Saturday.
