A front extending from the Upper Great Lakes to the Southern Plains will move eastward to the Northeast/Mid-Atlantic Coast and across the interior Gulf Coast States by Thursday evening. Showers and thunderstorms will develop along and ahead of the boundary from parts of the Upper Great Lakes/Middle Mississippi Valley and into parts of the Southern Plains that will move eastward to the Lower Great Lakes across parts of the Ohio Valley into the Southern Plains by Thursday morning. The showers and thunderstorms will end over parts of the Ohio Valley/Tennessee Valley by Thursday evening. Rain will develop along the front on Thursday morning from the Northern/Central Appalachians that will move to the Northeast Coast by Thursday evening. Additionally, rain will develop over parts of the Upper Great Lakes/Upper Mississippi Valley into parts of the Middle Mississippi Valley into the Central Plains behind the front. The rain will end over the Upper Great Lakes by Wednesday evening, while ending earlier over the Central Plains/Middle Mississippi Valley by late afternoon. Meanwhile overnight Wednesday, moisture will flow westward over the Southern Plains into the Southern Rockies while upper-level energy moves northeastward out of the Southwest to the Central/Southern Plains by Thursday evening. By Thursday morning, showers and thunderstorms will develop over parts of the Southern High Plains that will move into the Southern Plains by Thursday evening.
