Low pressure over the Northern High Plains will move southeastward to the Middle Missouri Valley by Wednesday. In addition, weak upper-level energy over the Great Basin will move eastward to the Upper Mississippi Valley by Wednesday. Moisture extending southward into the Gulf of California and the Pacific will interact with the energy producing rain over parts of the Great Basin/Northern Rockies into parts of the Southwest/Central Rockies/Southeastern California on Monday evening that will move eastward into parts of the Central/Southern Rockies by Tuesday morning, ending by Tuesday evening. Additionally, the front associated with the aforementioned low will produce rain over parts of the Northern Plains into parts of the Middle Missouri Valley overnight Monday into Tuesday morning that will move into the Upper Mississippi Valley/Upper Great Lakes/Western Ohio Valley by Wednesday morning. Showers and thunderstorms will develop over parts of the Middle Mississippi Valley on Tuesday afternoon into Tuesday evening that will expand into parts of the Central Plains and Oklahoma by Wednesday. Meanwhile, a front moving onshore over the Pacific Northwest/Northern California will move inland and dissipate over the Northern Intermountain Region by Tuesday afternoon. The system will produce rain over parts of Central California into the Northwest/Northern California on Monday evening that will move into the Northern Rockies and parts of the Great Basin then dissipate by Tuesday evening. In the meantime, another front will approach the West Coast by Wednesday morning. Ahead of the boundary, a plume of moisture from the Pacific will move into the West Coast by Tuesday evening producing rain over parts of Northern California and parts of the Pacific Northwest overnight Tuesday into Wednesday. Elsewhere, a deep upper-level trough over the Northeast will have impulses of energy passing through the trough into Wednesday. The energy will trigger rain and highest elevations snow over parts of the Northern Appalachians through Wednesday.
