A front extending from the Northeast to the Middle Mississippi Valley then into the Southern Plains will move eastward off the Northeast/Mid-Atlantic Coast and southward to the Carolinas and the Tennessee Valley by Monday. Rain with a few embedded thunderstorms will develop along and near the boundary from the Great Lakes to the Northeast that will move eastward off the Northeast/Mid-Atlantic Coast by late Sunday night. A wave of low pressure over the Middle Mississippi Valley will move eastward off the Mid-Atlantic Coast by Monday morning. Rain will develop with the low over parts of the Upper Mississippi Valley moving eastward to Northeast/Mid-Atlantic by late Sunday night and off the coast by Monday morning. In the systems wake, light rain will develop over part of the interior Northeast on Monday. Meanwhile, a deep upper-level low off the West Coast will weaken moving to the Northern Rockies/Northern High Plains by Monday.
