An upper-level low over Northwest Mexico and parts of Southwest/Southern Rockies will be quasi-stationary through Saturday. The system will aid in producing showers and thunderstorms over West-Central Texas that will retreat to the Lower Rio Grande Valley and the southern most tip of Texas by Thursday evening. The showers and thunderstorms will continue over various parts of the Lower Rio Grande Valley on Thursday evening into Friday evening. Meanwhile, a front extending from the Upper Mississippi Valley westward to the Northern High Plains will move eastward off the Northeast to the Southeast Coast by Friday evening. Overnight Thursday some showers will develop along and near the boundary over the Northeast into parts of the Lower Great Lakes waning by Friday evening. Additionally, a front over the Eastern Pacific will approach the Northwest Coast by Friday evening. A plume of moisture will accompany the front and begin to move onshore over the Pacific Northwest/Northern California Coast on Friday afternoon.
