A storm just off the Mid-Atlantic Coast will move northeastward to Nova Scotia by Wednesday. Rain will develop over parts of the Ohio Valley/Mid-Atlantic to the Southern Appalachians/Southeast that will end over the Southeast/Southern Appalachians overnight Monday. Rain, heavy at times, will move into Southern New England overnight Monday, too. The rain will end over the Ohio Valley and the Mid-Atlantic by Tuesday evening. In addition, a wintry mix of snow, rain/freezing rain, and sleet will develop over parts of the Northern New England becoming restricted to Northern Maine by Wednesday morning. Similarly, snow will develop over parts of the Northern/Central Appalachians and parts of the Lower Great Lakes Monday evening ending over the Central Appalachians by Tuesday evening. The snow will end overnight Tuesday over the Lower Great Lakes and Northern Appalachians. Rain will also develop over parts of the Upper Great Lakes through Tuesday afternoon. Meanwhile, another storm over the Central Rockies/Central High Plains will move northeastward to the Upper Great Lakes/Western Ohio Valley by Wednesday. The system will produce snow and lower elevation rain over the Southwest/Southern Rockies and snow over parts of Northern/Central Rockies and parts of the Great Basin that will begin to wane overnight Tuesday.
