Deep low off the Northeast will move northeastward away from New England on Tuesday and Wednesday. The system will produce snow over Northern New England and over parts of Eastern New York State that will end overnight Monday. Meanwhile, upper-level low over North-Central Mexico will weaken and move eastward to the Tennessee Valley by Wednesday. The system will produce showers and thunderstorms will develop over parts of the Southern High Plains will move eastward to parts of the Lower Mississippi Valley by Tuesday evening and to parts of the Southeast by Wednesday morning. In addition, rain will develop over parts of Central/Southern Plains that will move into parts of the Lower/Middle Mississippi Valley and Southern Ohio Valley by Tuesday morning. The rain will end over the Southern Plains by Wednesday morning, while expanding into parts of the Mid-Atlantic. Furthermore, an area of snow will develop over parts of the Central/Southern Rockies and rain at lower elevations through Tuesday evening. Additionally, upper-level energy over the Upper Mississippi Valley will move eastward to the Northeast by overnight Tuesday followed by another area of upper-level energy that will be stronger moving southward from East-Central Canada settling over the Lower Great Lakes by Wednesday.
