A front extending from the Upper Great Lakes/Upper Mississippi Valley southwestward to the Southern High Plains will move eastward to the Lower Great Lakes/Ohio Valley southward to Southeast/Tennessee Valley by Thursday evening. Winter weather is still upon us for the higher elevations of the northwestern U.S. through Thursday, including the Cascades and the northern/central Rockies. A Pacific front moving onshore Tuesday night will likely produce an enhanced band of precipitation with it across the Pacific Northwest.
