A front extending from the Upper Great Lakes to the Central High Plains will slowly move eastward to the Lower Great Lakes/Ohio Valley to the Middle Mississippi Valley by Monday. Showers and thunderstorms will develop along and ahead of the boundary from the Upper Great Lakes into the Central High Plains that will, likewise, move to the Lower Great Lakes to the Middle Mississippi Valley by Monday. In addition, showers and thunderstorms will develop along the associated warm front over parts of the Mid-Atlantic Sunday evening into Monday. Rain will also develop over parts of the Northern Appalachians Sunday afternoon into Monday. Meanwhile, an upper-level low over the Southern/Central Plains will slowly sink southward to the Western Gulf Coast by Monday. Circulation around the upper low will pull moisture off the Gulf of Mexico from the Western Gulf Coast to the Eastern Gulf Coast through Monday. Showers and thunderstorms will develop over parts of the Central/Southern Plains eastward to the Southeast through Monday. As the upper low moves southward, the showers and thunderstorms over Central Plains and the Southern High Plains will end overnight Sunday. Elsewhere, a front will develop over parts of the Northern Rockies/Northern Intermountain Region into parts of the Great Basin overnight Saturday. The boundary will move eastward to Northern High Plains to parts of the Great Basin by Monday while a warm front extends from Northern High Plains into Middle Missouri Valley, too. Showers and thunderstorm will begin to develop over parts of the Northern Intermountain Region on Sunday expanding into part Northern Rockies/Great Basin by Sunday evening.
