A front extending from the Great Lakes to the Central Plains will slowly move eastward to the Northeast/Mid-Atlantic Coast and southward to the Tennessee Valley/Lower Mississippi Valley by Tuesday. The system will produce showers and thunderstorms from the Great Lakes to Central Plains that will move into the Lower Great Lakes/Ohio Valley by Monday morning. By Monday night the showers and thunderstorms will move into parts of the Northern Appalachians into parts of the Southern Ohio Valley/Tennessee Valley. As the front sinks into Tennessee Valley, showers and thunderstorms will develop over parts of the Northern Mid-Atlantic into parts of the Southeast to the Lower Mississippi Valley by Tuesday morning. In addition, showers and thunderstorms will develop along the associated warm front over parts of the Northern Mid-Atlantic/Lower Great Lakes that will continue through Monday afternoon. Rain will also develop over parts of Northern New England through Tuesday morning. Meanwhile, an upper-level low over the Southern Plains into parts of the Middle Mississippi Valley will slowly sink southward over the Central Gulf Coast/Gulf of Mexico by Tuesday. The energy will produce showers and thunderstorms over parts of the Southern/Central Plains eastward to the Southern Mid-Atlantic/Southeast that will slowly subside to the Western Gulf Coast to parts of the Eastern Gulf Coast and Florida by Tuesday. Additionally, a front over the Northern Rockies/Northern Intermountain Region into parts of the Great Basin will slowly move eastward to the Northern/Central Plains by Monday night into Tuesday. Showers and thunderstorms will develop over parts of the area on Sunday evening that will, likewise, move eastward to the Northern/Central Plains by Tuesday morning.
