A front extending from Northern Mid-Atlantic to the Middle Mississippi Valley into the Northern Plains will move off Northeast Coast by Tuesday evening and off most of the Southeast Coast/Gulf Coast by Wednesday. Showers and thunderstorms will develop along and ahead of the boundary over parts of the Northeast into Central Appalachians/Ohio Valley that will move off Southern New England Coast and the Northern Mid-Atlantic Coast overnight Monday. On Tuesday morning, showers and thunderstorms will develop along the front from the Central/Southern Appalachians to parts of the Tennessee Valley/Lower Mississippi Valley that will move to the Gulf Coast overnight Tuesday into Wednesday. Showers and thunderstorms will continue over parts of the Southern Mid-Atlantic/Southeast Tuesday into Wednesday. Furthermore, an upper-level low over the Great Lakes associated with the front moving south over the eastern parts of the country, will move to parts of the Northeast Tuesday evening into Wednesday. Rain will develop over parts of the Northeast Tuesday morning into Wednesday. Meanwhile, an upper-level low over Western Gulf Coast/Lower Mississippi Valley that will slowly weaken and move to the Southeast Coast by Wednesday. The system will produce showers and thunderstorms over parts of the Southern Plains into the Lower Mississippi Valley eastward to Southern Mid-Atlantic/Southeast on Monday evening that will move into the Gulf of Mexico and off the parts of the Southeast Coast by Tuesday morning. On Tuesday, the showers and thunderstorms will merge with the convection associated with the southward moving front from the Central Gulf Coast eastward to the Southeast. Elsewhere, a front over the Northern Plains into parts of the Central Rockies/Eastern Great Basin will slowly move eastward to the Upper Mississippi Valley/Central Plains that will also dissipate by Wednesday morning. Showers and thunderstorms will develop over parts of the Northern Plains/High Plains into the Central Rockies that will, likewise, move to the Upper Mississippi Valley/Central Plains by Wednesday.
