Low pressure along the Central Gulf Coast will slowly move eastward off the Southeast Coast by Thursday morning. Showers and thunderstorms will develop along the associated front from the Southern Mid-Atlantic to parts of the Western Gulf Coast that will end over the Central/Western Gulf Coast by Wednesday evening. By Thursday, the showers and thunderstorms will be confined to parts of the Southeast Coast and Florida. Meanwhile, an upper-level low over the Northeast will slowly sink southwestward to the Central Appalachians by Thursday. The energy will produce rain over parts of the Northeast to parts of the Lower Great Lakes that will slowly end over the Northeast by Wednesday afternoon. Rain will then develop over parts of the Mid-Atlantic/Central Appalachians from Wednesday afternoon into Thursday. In addition, another region of upper-level energy over the Northern/Central Plains will move eastward to the Upper Great Lakes by Thursday as well. Showers and thunderstorms will develop over the Northern/Central Plains that will move slowly into the Upper Great Lakes/Upper Mississippi Valley by Thursday morning. Additionally, moisture trapped under the upper-level ridge over the Central/Southern Rockies/High Plains and diurnal heating will aid in producing showers and thunderstorms over the area that will have an areal maximum during the late afternoon into the late evening on Tuesday into Wednesday. Elsewhere, a front will move onshore over the Pacific Northwest Wednesday night into Thursday. Overnight Wednesday, rain will develop over parts of the Pacific Northwest/Northern California Coast that will move farther inland on Thursday.
