A front extending from the Northern Mid-Atlantic to the Lower Great Lakes southwestward to the Central Plains will move off the Northeast/Northern Mid-Atlantic Coast by Saturday evening. The system will produce showers and thunderstorms from parts of the Northeast/Lower Great Lakes southwestward to the Central Plains that will move eastward off the Northeast/Northern Mid-Atlantic Coast by Saturday evening. The upper-level energy associated with the front will produce showers and thunderstorms over parts of the Northeast/Upper Great Lakes through Saturday evening, too. Showers and thunderstorms will develop along the boundary over parts of the Northern Plains into parts of the Northern High Plains on Friday afternoon into evening that will move to the Upper Great Lakes/Upper Mississippi Valley by Saturday evening.
