An old front over the Florida peninsula will aid in producing showers and thunderstorms over the region through Tuesday evening. In addition, monsoonal moisture and daytime heating along with upper-level impulses will produce showers and thunderstorms over parts of the Southwest into parts of the Central/Southern Rockies and Central/Southern High Plains through Tuesday evening as well. Meanwhile, a front extending from the St. Lawrence Seaway to the Upper Great Lakes will advance eastward into the Northeast by Monday evening that will move off New England Coast by Tuesday evening. The system will produce showers and thunderstorms over parts of the Upper Great Lakes, on Monday morning, into parts of the Lower Great Lakes and Northern New England by Monday evening. The showers and thunderstorms will wane overnight Monday redeveloping by Tuesday evening over parts of New England. Another front over the Northern High Plains will move eastward to the Upper Great Lakes westward to the Northern High Plains by Tuesday evening. Showers and thunderstorms will develop over parts of the Northern Plains by Monday afternoon into evening that will move eastward to the Upper Mississippi Valley/Northern Plains by Tuesday morning. By Tuesday evening, the showers and thunderstorms will extend from the Upper Great Lakes to the Northern High Plains. Elsewhere, upper-level energy over the Ohio Valley into the Middle Mississippi Valley will trigger showers and thunderstorms over the region on Tuesday afternoon into evening.
