A front over Northern New England and extending southwestward into the Southern Mid-Atlantic will move off the Northeast Coast by Sunday morning. The system will produce showers and thunderstorms over parts of the Northeast through late Sunday morning. Showers and thunderstorms will linger over parts of the Southern Mid-Atlantic Through Monday morning. Meanwhile, a wave of low pressure over the Central Plains will eastward to the Ohio Valley by Monday. Showers and thunderstorms will develop over parts of the Central/Southern Plains into parts of the Middle Mississippi Valley on Saturday evening expanding into parts of the Ohio Valley by Sunday afternoon. Showers and thunderstorms will develop along and ahead of the boundary from the Ohio Valley to the Lower Mississippi Valley/Southern Plains from Sunday evening into Monday. In addition, upper-level energy over the Northern High Plains will slowly move eastward to the Middle Mississippi Valley/Northern Plains. The energy will aid in producing showers and thunderstorms over parts of the Northern Plains into the Northern Rockies and eastward into the Upper Great Lakes on Saturday evening that will wane to an area of showers and thunderstorms over parts of the Northern/Central Plains by Sunday morning. The area of showers and thunderstorms will expand again over the Upper Mississippi Valley into the Great Lakes waning to an area over the Middle Mississippi Valley/Central Plains by Monday morning.
