Meanwhile, a front extending from the Northeast Coast to the Southern Mid-Atlantic Coast westward across the Gulf Coast State into the Southern Plains will be quasi-stationary through Monday evening into Tuesday. The system will produce showers and thunderstorms from parts of the Northeast to the Southern Mid-Atlantic westward to the Southern Plains on Sunday morning. The showers and thunderstorms will end over the Northeast by Sunday evening. The showers and thunderstorms over the Southern Mid-Atlantic across the Gulf Coast States into parts of the Southern Plains will continue from Sunday into Monday evening/Tuesday.
