Post-tropical cyclone Harvey will continue to weaken and dissipate over the Ohio Valley by late Saturday night. Harvey will produce rain over parts of the Ohio Valley through Saturday night. In addition, upper-level energy over the Upper Great Lakes will aid in producing showers and thunderstorms over the Upper Great Lakes on Saturday evening that will move into Ontario overnight Saturday. Another storm developing along the Mid-Atlantic with some of the energy associated with Harvey, but the lion's share of the energy comes from the upper-level energy over the Upper Great Lakes. The associated surface low over the Mid-Atlantic will slowly move northeastward along the Northeast Coast that will move into the Canadian Maritimes by Monday. The system will produce rain over the Mid-Atlantic into the Lower Great Lakes that will move into the Northeast on Sunday and into Eastern Canada by Monday. Any showers and thunderstorms associated with the storm will move off the Southeast/Southern Mid-Atlantic Coast by Saturday evening. Meanwhile, a front over parts of Western Canada will move southeastward to the Upper Great Lakes to the Central Plains into parts of the Northern/Central High Plains by Monday while intensifying. The system will produce showers and thunderstorms over parts of the Upper Great Lakes/Upper Mississippi Valley overnight Sunday into Monday. Additionally, moisture from Tropical Storm Lidia will work into the Southwest and Southeastern California producing showers and thunderstorms over parts of the area on Saturday evening that will move into parts of Southwestern California on Sunday into Monday. Elsewhere, upper-level energy over Florida and tropical moisture will aid in producing showers and thunderstorms over Florida through Monday.
