Tropical moisture, quasi-stationary front, and upper-level energy will aid in producing showers and thunderstorms with heavy rain at times over northeastern Florida through Monday. In addition, scattered showers and thunderstorms will develop over the rest of the Florida peninsula also through Monday. The same tropical moisture and upper-level energy will aid in producing showers and thunderstorms over parts of the Eastern/Central Gulf Coast on Saturday into Monday morning. Meanwhile, a front extending from the Northern High Plains to parts of the Great Basin will move eastward to the Northern/Central Plains and the Upper Mississippi Valley into the Central Rockies by Monday. Rain with embedded thunderstorms will develop along and ahead of the boundary over parts of the Northern Rockies that will move into the Central Rockies by Sunday morning. Overnight Saturday ahead of the associated warm front, showers and thunderstorms will develop over parts of the Northern/Central Plains that will expand into parts of the Upper Mississippi Valley Sunday into Monday morning. By Sunday evening, showers and thunderstorms will return to the cold front over parts of Central Plains and Central High Plains into Monday morning. Upper-level energy and a deepening upper-level trough will aid in producing rain and higher elevation snow over parts of the Northern/Central Rockies overnight Saturday into Monday. Additionally, onshore flow will aid in producing rain over parts of the Pacific Northwest through late Sunday night. Moisture from the Gulf of Mexico and daytime heating will aid in producing showers and thunderstorms over parts of the Southern/Central Rockies through late Saturday night. Elsewhere, an upper-level trough over the Northeast will aid in producing rain over parts of Southern New England/Northern Mid-Atlantic Coast through late Saturday night, too.
