A developing strong storm over Central High Plains will move eastward to the Southern Appalachians by Tuesday. The system will produce snow over parts of the Great Basin and the Central/Southern Rockies that will end by Monday morning over the Great Basin/Southern Rockies. By Monday morning, the snow moves into parts of the Central Plains and slowly winds down over the Central Rockies overnight Monday. The snow over the Central Plains will slowly move into parts of the Middle Mississippi Valley by Tuesday. On Sunday, the storm will pull moisture off the Western Gulf of Mexico, streaming the moisture into parts of the Central/Northern Plains through Monday morning. The system also pulls moisture into the Lower Mississippi Valley into parts of the Southeast on Sunday evening into Monday morning. The moisture axis will move eastward into the Southeast/Southern Mid-Atlantic overnight Monday into Tuesday. The storm will aid in developing showers and thunderstorms over parts of the Southern/Central Plains into the Southeast Sunday evening into Monday morning. The showers and thunderstorms will end over the Southern Plains on Monday and over the Lower/Middle Mississippi Valley by Monday evening. The showers and thunderstorms will start to move off the Southeast/Southern Mid-Atlantic Coast by Tuesday evening. In addition, rain develop over parts of the Central Plains on Monday morning, moving into parts of the Ohio Valley by Monday evening. The rain will also move into parts of the Central Appalachians and parts of the Northern Mid-Atlantic overnight Monday into Tuesday morning. Light snow will also develop over parts of the Central Appalachians on Tuesday. Meanwhile, upper-level energy over parts of the Northern High Plains will move eastward into parts of the Upper Mississippi Valley by Tuesday. The energy will aid in producing snow over parts of the Northern Intermountain Region/Northern Rockies into parts of the Northern Plains on Sunday evening. The snow expands into parts of the Upper Mississippi Valley late Sunday night into Tuesday morning. A second area of upper-level energy just off the Pacific Northwest Coast will slowly begin to move inland overnight Monday into Tuesday morning. The system will produce coastal rain and higher elevations snow over the Pacific Northwest through Tuesday.
