Upper-level energy over the Lower Great Lakes/Northern Appalachians will move eastward off the Northeast Coast by Tuesday morning. Another area of upper-level energy will follow a similar path moving off the Northeast Coast by Wednesday morning. The energy will produce produce scattered rain and snow from parts of the Upper/Middle Mississippi Valley eastward to the Northern Mid-Atlantic that will diminish to a smaller area of rain and snow over parts of the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic by Tuesday morning. The second area of upper-level energy will continue to produce mostly scattered snow over parts of the Lower Great Lakes eastward to the Northeast Coast on Tuesday evening moving off the Northeast Coast by Wednesday morning. Additionally, a front over the Southeast/Eastern Gulf Coast will slowly move southeastward off the southern tip of Florida by Wednesday morning. Showers and thunderstorms will develop along and ahead of the boundary mainly over Florida that will, likewise, move southeastward off the Southeast Florida Coast by Wednesday.
