A storm over the Tennessee Valley will slowly move eastward to the Southeast/Southern Mid-Atlantic by Tuesday evening. Showers and thunderstorms will develop along and ahead of the associated front over parts of the Tennessee Valley into the Southeast moving off most of the Southeast Coast except for parts of the Florida Peninsula and the Southern Mid-Atlantic by Tuesday evening. Rain will also develop over parts of the Middle Mississippi and Ohio Valleys that will expand into parts of the Central Appalachians and the Northern Mid-Atlantic by Monday evening. The rain will move into parts of the Great Lakes and the Northeast on Tuesday morning into Tuesday evening. Meanwhile, upper-level energy over the Northern Rockies will move southeastward to the Central Plains/Central Rockies by Tuesday evening. The energy will aid in producing higher elevation snow and lower elevation rain over parts of the Northern Rockies/Northern High Plains that will move southeastward into parts of the Central Rockies overnight Monday into Tuesday evening. On Monday afternoon, rain will develop over parts of the Northern/Central Plains and expanding into parts of the Upper Mississippi Valley/Upper Great Lakes on Tuesday morning into Tuesday evening. As the associated front moves onto the Southern High Plains overnight Monday into Tuesday morning, showers and thunderstorm will develop over parts of the Southern Plains Tuesday into Wednesday morning.
