Slow moving storm over the Southeast will move northward to the Northern Mid-Atlantic Coast by Wednesday evening. The system will produce showers and thunderstorms along and ahead of the associated front over parts of the Southeast Coast and the Florida peninsula that will move along the Mid-Atlantic Coast into Southern New England by Wednesday evening. The showers and thunderstorms over Florida will move off the southern tip of Florida by Wednesday morning. In addition, rain will develop over parts of the Southern/Central Appalachians, Ohio Valley into parts of the Mid-Atlantic on Tuesday morning. The rain will move into parts of the Great Lakes on Tuesday moving into the Northeast overnight Tuesday. The rain will end over most of the Ohio Valley by Wednesday afternoon. While the rain will continue over parts of the Northeast through Wednesday evening, the rain will end over most of the Mid-Atlantic by Wednesday evening, too. Meanwhile, upper-level energy over the Northern Rockies will move southeastward to the Central/Southern Plains by Wednesday evening. The energy will produce light snow over parts of the Northern/Central Rockies and the Northern/Central High Plains that will slowly end overnight Tuesday. Rain will also develop over parts of the Northern/Central Plains that will end over the Northern Plains by Wednesday morning. The rain will move into parts of the Middle/Lower Mississippi Valley on Wednesday into Wednesday evening. Additionally, showers and thunderstorms will develop along and ahead of the associated front over parts of the Southern High Plains Tuesday afternoon into evening. The showers and thunderstorms will move southeastward into other parts of the Southern Plains by Wednesday morning and continue into Wednesday evening. Furthermore, a front over Western Canada will sink southward into the Northern High Plains/Northern Rockies on Wednesday that will produce areas of light rain over parts of the region by Wednesday evening.
