Upper-level energy over the Northern/Central Plains will slowly advance eastward to the Lower Great Lakes by Thursday morning. The energy will aid in producing showers and thunderstorms over parts of the Northern Plains into the Upper/Middle Mississippi Valley and parts of the Upper Great Lakes that will move eastward to the Lower Great Lakes/Ohio Valley/Central Appalachians extending westward into parts of the Central Plains by Thursday. Meanwhile, a front will move onshore over the Pacific Northwest overnight Tuesday continuing to move inland to the Northern Rockies/Northern High Plains southwestward to the Great Basin by Thursday, too. The system will produce rain over parts of the Pacific Northwest that expand eastward into the Northern Intermountain Region by Wednesday morning. The rain will continue expanding eastward with embedded thunderstorms over parts of the Northern Rockies by Wednesday evening moving into parts of the Northern Plains by Thursday. Elsewhere, an upper-level low over the Mid-Atlantic will aid in producing diurnal showers and thunderstorms over parts of the Appalachians through Tuesday evening. The energy will also help produce showers and thunderstorms over parts of Southern Mid-Atlantic Coast by Wednesday morning ending by Wednesday evening. Additionally, the energy will aid in producing rain over parts of Southern New England Coast overnight Wednesday into Thursday.
