A warm front extending from the Southern Plains to the Mid-Atlantic will lift northward to the Middle Mississippi Valley while extending eastward to the Mid-Atlantic by Monday. A reinforcing front will move southward from Southern Canada into the Northeast and the Ohio Valley before dissipating on Sunday evening. Furthermore, a new cold front will develop over the Northern/Central Plains into the Central Plains/Great Basin overnight Saturday, moving southeastward to the Central/Southern Plains by Monday. Moisture pooling along aforementioned warm front will, likewise, move northward to the Middle Mississippi Valley into the Mid-Atlantic by Monday. The moisture and front will aid in producing showers and thunderstorms over parts of the Middle Mississippi Valley to the Mid-Atlantic that will move southward to the Southern Plains to the Central/Southern Appalachians by Sunday morning before lifting northward to the Middle Mississippi Valley to the Southern Mid-Atlantic by Monday. Additionally, showers and thunderstorms will also develop along and ahead of the dissipating front over parts of the Northeast into the Northern Plains that will continue over parts of the area through Sunday evening. Rain will also develop over parts of the Northeast overnight Sunday into Monday. Additionally, the upper-level energy associated with the developing front will aid in producing showers and thunderstorms over parts of the Northern Rockies into the Northern Plains that will move east/southward into parts of the Northern/Central Plains by Sunday morning. The showers and thunderstorms will expand eastward into parts of the Upper/Middle Mississippi Valley on Sunday into Monday.
