A storm over the Central Plains/Middle Mississippi Valley will move northeastward to the Upper Great Lakes by Monday. The system will produce rain over parts of the Northern/Central Plains and Upper/Middle Mississippi Valley that will lift northeastward into the Upper/Lower Great Lakes and the Ohio Valley by Monday. Snow will also develop over parts of the Upper Great Lakes near Western Lakes Superior on Sunday into Monday. Additionally, showers and thunderstorms will develop along the associated front over the Southern Plains on Saturday evening that will move into parts of the Middle/Lower Mississippi Valley by Sunday morning, retreating to the Central/Western Gulf Coast by Sunday evening. Furthermore, a front over the Florida Peninsula will march northward to the Gulf Coast/Southeast Coast by Monday. Showers and Thunderstorms will develop over the southern tip of Florida will, likewise, move northward to Northeastern Florida and expand along the Southeast/Southern Mid-Atlantic Coast and the Central/Eastern Gulf Coast overnight Sunday into Monday. Meanwhile, multiple areas of upper-level energy over the Pacific Northwest/Eastern Pacific will move southeastward to the Central/Southern Rockies and Central/Southern Plains by Monday. Onshore flow will stream across the Pacific Northwest with an embedded plume of moisture that will move southward along the Northwest Coast into Northern California by Sunday afternoon. The moisture will aid in producing rain over parts of the Pacific Northwest through Monday. Rain and higher elevation snow will develop over the Northern Cascades through late Sunday night. As the energy moves farther inland, snow and valley rain will develop over parts of the Northern Rockies overnight Saturday that will expand into the Central Rockies by Sunday afternoon continuing into Monday. Some of the snow will be heavy at times. On Monday rain will move into parts of the Central Plains into the Middle Mississippi Valley. In addition, rain and snow will develop over parts of the Northern Plains on Monday. Showers and thunderstorms will also develop over parts of the Southern Plain and Middle/Lower Mississippi Valley Monday afternoon into evening.
