A storm over the Southern Plains/Lower Mississippi Valley will move northeastward to the Ohio Valley/Mid-Atlantic by Saturday. The system will produce showers and thunderstorms over parts of the Southern Plains/Lower Mississippi Valley that will move eastward off the Southeast Coast by Saturday. Light snow will develop over parts of Central Texas ending by Friday morning. In addition, rain will develop over parts of the Southern Plains into the Ohio Valley into the Lower Mississippi Valley that will move eastward to the Mid-Atlantic/Southeast by Friday afternoon. The rain will also expand into the Great Lakes overnight Thursday moving into the Northeast by Friday evening, ending over Northern New England by Saturday morning. The rain will end overnight Friday over the Southern Plains and the Lower Mississippi Valley on Saturday morning. Meanwhile, a front over the Eastern Pacific moves onshore over the West Coast on Friday afternoon moving inland to the Northern High Plains/Northern Rockies into parts of the Great Basin by Saturday. Moisture ahead of the boundary will aid in producing rain over parts of the Pacific Northwest and snow over parts of the Northern Intermountain Region that will wane over the Northern Intermountain Region by Friday morning. By Friday afternoon, rain will develop over parts of the Pacific Northwest Coast into Northern California Coast that will expand inland by Friday evening with rain and higher elevation snow. Snow returns to the Northern Intermountain Region and into parts of the Northern Rockies by Saturday morning. The rain and snow will wane on Saturday.
