A storm over the Tennessee Valley will move roughly northeastward to off the New England Coast by Monday. The system will produce rain from parts of the Tennessee Valley/Ohio Valley eastward to the Mid-Atlantic/Southeast that will move off the Southeast Coast overnight Saturday. The rain will lift into parts of the Northeast with pockets of rain/freezing rain starting overnight Saturday, too, and the rain/Freezing rain ending by Sunday evening. Snow will develop over parts of the Northern Appalachians on Sunday afternoon that will move into parts of Northern New England by Monday morning. Most of the rain will end overnight Sunday over the Mid-Atlantic while continuing over parts of Southern New England into Monday. Meanwhile, moisture ahead of the next Pacific front will aid in developing rain over parts of the Northern California Coast and the Pacific Northwest Coast that will slowly move inland overnight Saturday with snow developing over parts of Cascades by Sunday morning. Overnight Sunday, snow will move into parts of the Northern Intermountain Region. Also overnight Sunday, rain will move into Central California with snow developing over the highest elevations of the Sierras, continuing into Monday. Additionally, upper-level energy over Northwestern Mexico will move northeastward into the Southern Rockies by Monday.
