Low Pressure over the Middle Mississippi Valley will move southeastward to the Southeast Coast by Tuesday. The system will produce showers and thunderstorms a long and ahead of the associated front from parts of the Middle Mississippi and Western Ohio Valleys southwestward to parts of the Southern Plains/Western Gulf Coast that will move southeastward to the Southeast by overnight Monday and move off the Southeast Coast by Tuesday morning. Rain will also develop over parts of the Middle Mississippi and Western Ohio Valleys that will move into the Mid-Atlantic by Monday evening. The rain will move off the Mid-Atlantic Coast and parts of the Southeast by Tuesday evening. Meanwhile, a front extending from the Northeast to the Middle Mississippi Valley will move southward and merge with the aforementioned low over the Tennessee Valley by Monday morning and off the Mid-Atlantic Coast by Monday evening. The boundary will aid in producing light snow over parts of the Northeast and the Upper Great Lakes that will dissipate over parts of the Northeast by Monday morning. In addition, upper-level energy over the Northern Rockies will move southeastward to the Eastern Gulf Coast by Tuesday evening. The energy will produce lower elevation rain and higher elevation snow over parts of the Northern Intermountain Region into parts of the Northern/Central Rockies and the Northern High Plains that will dissipate over the Northern/Central Rockies by Monday afternoon. On Monday, an area of rain and snow will move into parts of the Northern Plains and dissipate overnight Monday. Elsewhere, a front over the Eastern Pacific will move onshore over the West Coast overnight Sunday moving inland to the Northern Rockies/Northern High Plains into parts of the Great Basin/Southern California by Tuesday. The system will produce rain and higher elevation snow over parts of California and the Pacific Northwest on Monday that will move into parts of the Northern Rockies into the Great Basin by Tuesday.
