A fast moving area of low pressure over the Western Ohio Valley will move to the Mid-Atlantic by Sunday morning and off the coast by Sunday afternoon. The storm will produce late season snow over Southern Michigan into the Lower Great Lakes with the snow ending by Sunday afternoon. South of the snow, rain will develop over parts of the Middle Mississippi Valley across parts of the Northern Ohio Valley into the Northern Mid-Atlantic by Sunday morning. By Sunday afternoon, rain will move into Southern New England and moving off the coast overnight Sunday. South of the surface low, showers and thunderstorms will develop along and ahead of the associated front over parts of the Southern Ohio Valley into parts of the Middle/Lower Mississippi Valley that will move eastward into parts of the Southern Mid-Atlantic into parts of the Tennessee/Lower Mississippi Valleys by Sunday morning. The showers and thunderstorms will move off the Mid-Atlantic Coast overnight Sunday. Meanwhile, strong upper-level energy over the Pacific Northwest will move eastward to the Upper Great Lakes overnight Sunday. The system will produce snow over parts of the Northern Rockies and rain over parts of the Northern High Plains that will change over to snow over the Northern High Plains with Blizzard conditions on Sunday. Snow and rain will move into the Northern Plains overnight Saturday with rain moving into the Upper Mississippi Valley by Sunday evening. Snow and rain will move into parts of the Upper Great Lakes by Monday morning while the snow over the Northern Rockies into the Northern Plains begins to taper off. By Sunday evening showers and thunderstorms will develop along and ahead of the associated front over parts of the Central Plains into the Central Rockies that will move into the Middle Mississippi Valley into parts of the Central Plains by Monday morning. The showers and thunderstorms will move into parts of the Ohio Valley into the Central/Southern Plains by Monday evening. Furthermore, overnight Sunday an upper-level low off the Southern California Coast will move onshore and move eastward into the Southwest by Monday evening. Also overnight Sunday, rain with embedded thunderstorms will develop over parts of the Great Basin into Southern California that will expand into parts of the Southwest by Monday morning. On Monday, rain with higher elevation snow will develop over parts of the Central Rockies with rain an embedded thunderstorms over part of the Southwest/Southern Rockies by Monday evening.
