Upper-level energy over the Northern Plains will move into Southeastern Canada by Tuesday. The system will produce snow over parts of the Northern Rockies into the Northern High Plains that will slowly wane by Monday afternoon. Furthermore, there are Blizzard Warnings over parts of the Northern High Plains through Sunday evening. Rain and snow will develop over parts of the Northern Plains overnight Sunday and expand into parts of the Upper Great Lakes by Monday morning that will begin to wane over the Northern Plains overnight Monday and over the Upper Great Lakes by Tuesday. Showers and thunderstorms will develop along and ahead of the associated front over parts of the Central/Southern Plains into parts of the Central High Plains that will move into parts of the Middle Mississippi Valley into the Central Plains by Monday morning. On Monday, the showers and thunderstorms will move into the Ohio Valley and the Middle/Lower Mississippi Valley. The showers and thunderstorms will also move into parts of the Central Appalachians/Mid-Atlantic overnight Monday into Tuesday. In addition, rain will develop over parts of the Middle Mississippi Valley, on Monday morning, moving into parts of the Great Lakes/Northern Ohio Valley by Monday evening and into the Lower Great Lakes/Northern Mid-Atlantic overnight Monday. The rain will move into New England on Tuesday and off the coast by Tuesday evening. Meanwhile, additional upper-level energy just off the Southern California Coast and moving into the Pacific Northwest will move to the Central Plains and the Great Basin, respectively by Tuesday evening. The California energy will begin to produce rain and higher elevation snow over parts of Southern California, Southwest, Great Basin, and the Central Rockies by Monday morning. Snow will begin to develop over parts of the Central High Plains, Central/Northern Rockies by Monday evening. The rain will end over Southern California by Tuesday morning, while lower elevation rain and snow continue over parts of the Great Basin, Northern/Central Rockies, and parts of the Northern High Plains through Tuesday evening. Additionally, showers and thunderstorms will develop along a boundary over the Southern Plains into the Middle Mississippi Valley on Monday evening into Tuesday evening.
